2018 Beverly Hills Dog Show Presented by Purina - My First Ever Dog Show!

Who says dogs can't enjoy a good dog show, just like their humans?

Earlier this month, I got invited to attend The Beverly Hills Dog Show Presented by Purina, and boy was it a treat.

I saw (and got to meet) so many different kinds of amazing dogs. My favorites were the Siberian Huskies and the Pomeranians, but I could be biased.

Seeing all the work that goes into these dogs walking in the show was incredible. There was so much fluffing and grooming going on that I was starting to get jealous. And these dogs really know their stuff. When they walk in the show they command your attention. I think I could learn a thing or two from them to use back at home with my humans!

And even though I wasn't in the show myself, I got to walk the red carpet, where I met the gorgeous Maria Menounos!

In celebration of the show, Purina has invited dog lovers across the world to share the positive impact dogs like me make in humans' lives, through the "Every Dog Is A Star" program. To participate, dog owners are encouraged to post a photo or video on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram showing how their dog is the true star of the family. For every original post submitted between now and April 8, using the hashtag #BHDogShow and tagging @Purina, Purina will donate $5, up to $25,000 to Mutt-i-grees to help expand the program to more schools around the country.

Mutt-i-grees, run by North Shore Animal League America, shows children the positive impact pets can have on their lives and teaches them important life skills such as empathy, friendship and kindness through interaction with shelter dogs!

I must say, it was an honor to be invited to this event, and I can't wait to do it again next year!
